Carl was a graduate of Cornell University, class of 1944, where he received his degree in Chemical Engineering.

He retired in 1984 as Plant Engineer in the F & F Department at the DuPont Company.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peg; one daughter, Joan and her husband Bill; one son, John and his wife Mary and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter Barbara, who died in 1958.

His Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Kennett Friends Meeting, Union and Sickle Street, Kennett Square.

Contributions in his honor may be made to the Kennett Friends Meeting or to a charity of your choice.
