Helen M. Bazzano, 86, of Chadds Ford, died Tuesday, July 13, at Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford. Helen was the wife of John D. Bazzano Sr. who died in 1992, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage. Her first husband, Robert T. Moran died in 1946.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine Cassidy McGrogan.

Helen was a registered nurse and worked for Dr. John A. Bellis of Kennett Square for more than 30 years.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the Kennett Area Senior Center, and enjoyed dancing, reading, knitting and especially being with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Moran Bernardon and her husband Arthur of Chadds Ford; four sons, John D. Bazzano, Jr. and his wife Jane of Kennett Square, Charles E. Bazzano and his wife Mary of Tuscon, Ariz., James B. Bazzano and his wife Bonnie of Kennett Square, and Robert J. Bazzano and his wife Marleen of Orange City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Amanda Bernardon Huskey, Andrea Bazzano Cassidy, John D. Bazzano, III, Jamie Bazzano Woodward and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Peter W. Bazzano , one brother, William McGrogan and one sister, Katherine Fell.

You are invited to visit with family and friends from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 19, , at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
